Christmas Gifts!!

Guess what? I was blessed with a lot of Christmas gifts!

 

 Every Christmas Eve we go downstairs to a party with my grandparents and they give us gifts. I got some winter crocs (I can wear crocs all year long!!!!) and the boots were on Christmas day.

 Lately these years we've been going to our cousins' house (This year my other grandparents' house) on the 29th of December. There we have a Yankee Swap and another gift opening! I got the T-shirt from there, while the sweater was on Christmas Eve.

 You couldn't see what the T-shirt says so here it is. Funny, huh?

 I got some thinking putty from an early gift opening. It changes color depending to the heat.

 Sophie gave me this wallet early, while my grandparents gave the glasses fixing kit a couple days after Christmas.

 I got some Adventures in Odyssey albums. The first two (The Lost Episodes and Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes) were on Christmas Eve, while I got the third one (Darkness Before Dawn) with a gift card for Morning Star I got on Christmas day.

 And I got this cool Sonic the Hedgehog Roller Racer in my stocking on Christmas day.

 I got an Angry Birds toy (game which includes cards) on the early gift opening, and at my grandparents' house, I got a Star Wars ReColoritz coloring book. (I really hate to say this, but I gave it to my sister, Sophie because I had no interest in it. :P) And on Christmas day, Sophie gave me a Mad Libs book she made.

 At my grandparents' house, I got a random LEGO minifigure. Although I don't know what it is, it's cool.

 On Christmas Eve, I got a $25 ITunes gift card, and at the Yankee Swap, I traded for another gift card that was $15!!! With both gift cards combined, that's a lot of money to buy songs!!!

 And best of all these gifts... A NINTENDO 3DS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had wanted this for years and I even started a savings account (which ended up as a game for the 3DS) to save up for it because I thought my parents couldn't afford it! This is an awesome machine! It is backwards compatible with regular DS games and it even has a camera!!! (which is the camera I have been using for this post!)

The things you don't see here are lots of candy (Mom had to put it away sometimes) gum, a Slim Jim, and beef jerky. It is no doubt that God has blessed me with tons of gifts! But we shouldn't forget what Christmas is all about. The greatest Christmas Gift of all is Jesus (the Son of God) who was born in a manger. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Amen! I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

The 12 Days of Christmas Final Chapter: Christmas!

Although this post is marked a journal, this is not a journal at all. this is a post with lots of pictures.


Welcome! It was an awesome Christmas! It was Jesus Christ's 2012 human birthday! I got a cool Lego set, a Snow-Brick Maker, a Nabi (Sophie is holding it) (for me, Sophie and Isaiah) which is really a kid-proof Android Tablet with apps already in there, a 1 Player 20 Questions thingy, and an MP3 Player, which I gave to Sophie because I already got it 2 days ago.

Sophie got 3 Webkinz pets.

good friday!

i was still in bed. a few minutes later, i got out and put on a shirt. the computer wasn't working, so i couldn't post my whole day. i asked my mom if i could have my hot tamales that i bought. another thing i could remember was when i read my day by day kid's Bible. i read some proverbs from other wisemen and a proverb about having a good wife. later i was reading the children's illustrated Bible about the family tree of Jesus and more. when i read about the judgement day, i felt bad. i prayed to God that He will help me care for pepole. the big part of the day is when i did a crosswalk. we drove to county stores. then we saw our friends. two pepole held the cross (a lowercase t shape symbol of Jesus' crusufixion) and a group of pepole walked along. the number increased! we walked, and sometimes the cross-holders changed. even i carried the cross! we walked 'till we arrived at the light of the world church. then we got a ride back to the car. it was AWESOME!!! later, when we came home, i wrote a new post.

valentines day!

i had a great valentines day! here's what happend that day...

i was still in bed. i still was having a strange dream. mom woke me up, and gave me a valentines card. it was from my dad. i liked it! i was in bed for so long, that i decided to get up. i told sophie that we were going to play with dollies, but my mom said we were leaving. so i came too! we got lots of food! i helped put in the groceries. when it was done, i ate a cupcake. then i asked my mom, "can i please have a pop tart?" and she gave me a half. when she was leaving again, i ate chips and salsa. ("i lost the game") later, i read "adventures in oddesy: the official guide". after a couple of things, i did my bible, about judges and idol worship. then i made a valentines card! dad liked it! then sophie made a card for mom. then i did my word roots, where i had to rearrange the meanings of "-son-" and "-tort-". (i also ate rice pelof) then i did my s. r., which was mr. rogers. i read about how he started making mr. rogers' neighborhood. then i watched one of his episodes on youtube. later, i ate dinner, tacos. then i did my math, more about division. when my mom got back, (she left) she gave me (and sophie) some heart chocolates. after surfing on the internet, i worked on my adventures in odyssey project. while i was working on it, sophie asked dad if she could watch shaun the sheep (post coming soon!) on netflix. so she and i watched it. but there was a hailstorm. after, i continued making my project, but my mom said that i needed to go to bed, so i listened to AIO, then i went to sleep.

the 25 days of christmas!

we had a great christmas time!

first, was the decorations. we put up christmas lights, a christmas carolers house, and a whole town!

next was the christmas tree. my brothers andrew and isaiah went to wal * mart, but there were no more trees. so andrew went to this place where he passes to work. an emloyee had one last tree, but he said, "it's yours." so andrew looked how much money it was for, but the employee said it was free. what a nice man!

on christmas day...

My dad woke me up. He said, "guess what today is?" and I said, "Christmas!" A few minutes later, my mom and dad showed me boots that they got. They were the warm kind. Later, my mom told me to wake up my brothers, but I didn't. I just went downstairs. But my mom woke them up instead. When it was time to open up our stockings I got a beef stick, an ice age 3 watch, a mad libs book, a combos snack bag, a goldfish snack bag, a fruit snacks bag, some play dough, and a wipe off marker! The gifts that I opened were: a mini roboraptor, headphones, an mp3 player, a cd player (which both me and Sophie got), Dispicable Me (what the whole family got), a Webkinz Chimpanzee I named Monk, and a Lego Star Wars Seperatist shuttle! I was so glad of my gifts! Later, I started buidling my Lego Star Wars slave one that I got from my grandparents on Christmas Eve. I also ate my combos, goldfish and fruit snacks.

Christmas was great! Sophie got a sock monkey,

and I got a new Webkinz!

it had been Jesus' 2009, birthday! I'll tell you the Christmas story: a long long long long long long long time ago, there was a women named Mary. When she saw the angel Gabriel, it frightened her. "Do not be afraid," said Gabriel. "A new child will be born, name him Jesus. He is the son of God." But Joseph, who was willing to marry her, was shocked by Mary's pregnancy. "I should not marry her, she's going to have a child," Thought Joseph. That night, Joseph had an amazing dream! He dreamed that Gabriel came to Joseph, too. And he said, "Do not be afraid to marry Mary, Joseph, her baby will be the Son of God, Christ. "

On the night when Jesus was going to be born, Mary and Joseph were married, so they came to the city called Bethlehem the City of David. There was an inn and they came to it. The owner said, "Sorry, guys, but the whole inn is full. All I can find is this stable. Your baby can be born with the animals." When Jesus was born, a giant star exploded to life! some wise men saw that. "we studied the stars for years, and we've never seen one like this!" they came to king Herod (hair-id). The star was a sign of a new child king to be born.

"Go to Bethlehem, there is an inn with a stable of animals. Bring the new child king to me so I can praise him," said King Herod. He had lied because what he really wanted was to bring back the new child king and kill him. He wanted to be the only king in the world. The wise men came to the stable and they saw Mary and Joseph and Jesus. Some other people came, too. "We plan to worship the new child king and bring him gifts," said one wise men. And Mary, Joseph and Jesus lived happily ever after!
